Hey
I like to know what temperature the engine has. That's what I miss in the Alps
Do you know if this indicator will match Alp 4.0?

Hi Kijo,

let me say a warm welcome to you first. There are not too many people outside Germany in this forum so it's great that you've found this page. You'll find lots of information about the Alp 4.0 here and maybe you've already seen that you may order some extended parts for your bike here too. It's not a problem to use English language when asking a question or writing an answer.

For me it looks like that you've selected the right item. Even if it wouldn't fit it's not a big problem, by law you can send orders done via the internet back to the shop within a two weeks period and you'll get your money back afterwards.

There are some topics here around the oil temperature for an Alp 4.0 (search for "Öltemperatur Alp 4") and most people say that measurement is a little bit useless because there are no known problems in that area. You've to decide this for your own of course.

Regards
Werner

Also from my side a warm welcome.

sending back items is no prob, but shipping costs to uk and back to germany
you should not underestimate.

There might be a shop similiar to louis in the uk.
Isn´t there one?

cheers

There's no difference to shipping costs inside Germany

Hi Kijo,

Your link seems to appropriate for Alp 4.0.

In my opinion it's a useful equipment, for many years this part is mounted on my 4.0.
It's easy to see when the engine is warm, respectively which temperatures the oil reaches.

:knips: It wouldn´t be the first parcel to Poland. I´ve just sent a nice package concerning a Polish Alp 200 rider....
